Slow Traffic (Outlook and Camaro Comments)

Well, it seems I am not doing a good job of blogging. I just checked my stats and I have had fewer then 600 visits per day for all but 1 day this month. I normally have right around 700 visits a day give or take a few.

With numbers close to 500 per day, that’s a drop in regular visits of almost 200 per day. This can only be attributable to one thing…

I am lazy.

O.K. That is a simple answer. Basically I have not had a lot to blog about. And letting a blog get stale is the worst thing you can do. I still get e-mails (or comments) almost every single day about Outlook 2000 and Vista. That’s a shame. Not that I don’t appreciate all the comments and questions, but my Outlook 2000 on Vista page was written almost two years ago.

Granted… the most searched for information on my Blog is for information on the new Camaro… which is due in showrooms this month. I have to tell you… expect markups from dealers.

This is good and bad. The markups will be two fold. Yes, dealers tend to mark up the price for a hot, new commodity. They were doing this on the V-8 version of the then new 1993 Camaro.

But I suspect they will do it to help there own bottom line as well. This is a problem. If they mark up the price of the V-6 Camaro they will drive away sales and GM cannot afford that. GM needs this car to get Chevrolet back on track. But it is not enough, and letting dealers play around with the price is only going to make matters worse.

We’ll see. I have not seen one on the road yet. Have you?
